Bridging Research and Practice
The National Dental Practice-Based Research Network hosted a “Lunch and Learn” event for the Summer Research Program students at the College of Dentistry on June 18, 2026. The session emphasized the Network’s mission and introduced students to the concept and importance of practice-based research.
Our objective is to bridge the gap between academic theory and its practical application in dental settings. By providing these aspiring dental professionals with valuable insights into practice-based research, the Network strives to inspire a new generation dedicated to transforming research findings into real-world impact. This collaboration underscores the vital role of practice-based research in fostering innovation within dental science. The Network wishes the students success as they begin their studies in August and eagerly anticipates the contributions they will make to the field of dentistry.
